Markets continued

Speaking of markets, here are a couple of shots from the market in Nosara - not to be missed it is held every Saturday morning at Giardino Tropical during high season.  Organic vegies, meats, and fresh roasted organic mountain-grown coffee ... for only 1900 colones per .5 kg (less than $4).  Craft vendors also have tables set up and you can get a haircut for a donation to "escuelita" - sort of a kids holiday club I think?

How did I manage to miss out on fresh mountain coffee while I was there?!

The vendors are about 50:50 Tico and Gringo. I didn't get a shot of the vegie vendors - all Tico. Of course the shoppers are 100% tourist. For the real CR market experience you would have to go to Nicoya.

Bryn, we finally made it to the market on our last Saturday there ... the coffee was/is great - dark roast just as you like it!
